FROM: Crowsnest Conservation Birding Committee
The Crowsnest Pass Christmas Bird Count for this year will be held on Tuesday, January 2, 2018. So pop that date in your calendars for now. We will be providing more information on how to get involved closer to that date
Last year we had 20 participants, which is a good turnout for our small community. Some watched their feeders, or reported the birds they saw on their walks. Others got together in groups and worked their way around Crowsnest Pass from the Tecumseh/Allison Creek area in the west, to Burmis Lake and North Burmis Road in the east. Afterwards we gathered for a welcome afternoon meal and social. This year we propose to do the same thing again.
All participant data is submitted by the organizers to Bird Studies Canada and the Audubon Society.
