FROM: Alberta Parks
From mussel sniffing dogs, to live birds of prey, this years Beauvais Lake Speaker Series is going to be fun and interesting. On Saturday, July 1 the series begins with the Alberta Birds of Prey Centre! Everyone is welcome to this outdoor event, scheduled every Saturday at 8 p.m. at the Amphitheatre in the Beauvais Lake Campground from July 1 – September 2.
Bring a warm coat, a pillow to sit on, insect repellent, lots of questions and plan to discover all sorts of interesting things about our local SW Alberta wildlife and landscape from the professionals out there in the field doing the work. The talks may be cancelled in the event of inclement weather, and children need to be accompanied by an adult.
We would like to thank the Beauvais Lake Cottage Association, our Campground Hosts, Alberta Park staff, as well as Shell Waterton and all the speakers who have volunteered their time to bring you the stories and images that make this part of Alberta one of the most fascinating places to visit and live.
Please see the poster and feel invited to join us beginning July 1 at the amphitheatre. July 2017 Beauvais Lake Speaker Series
